Do we already know the ending for The Avengers 4? Well, Samuel L. Jackson just may have offered a big hint and potential spoiler.
Warning: Possible spoilers follow.
The Avengers: Infinity War post-credit scene featured Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury driving and walking through the streets of NYC as half the population turned to dust courtesy of the Great Titan Thanos.
As Nick Fury himself started to disappear, he made a last ditch effort, which was revealed in the form of an old pager featuring the logo of none other than Captain Marvel.
Now while promoting the release of The Incredibles 2, Samuel L. Jackson says he knows The Avengers 4 ending, which he thinks has to do with Captain Marvel, as Jackson commented on how The Avengers: Infinity War post-credit scene came together.
âI had no idea, it came out of the blue,â Jackson said, with the article revealing he was asked to the post-credit scene while filming Captain Marvel in Atlanta, and that he didnât know Fury would die until he saw the finished movie.
Regarding The Avengers 4 ending he teased, âWhoâs really dead, and whoâs really in the flaky wind of Marvel dust, I donât know, but I do know thereâs a solution that they didnât even have to tell me, just because I know who Captain Marvel is and what all that means.â

While Jackson doesnât offer specific spoilers, he seemingly explains âand what all that meansâ again pointing to Captain Marvel being a big part of The Avengersâ endgame.
âThis character means so much to the franchise!â Samuel L. Jackson told Vulture.ââŠbecause sheâs the most powerful character in the Marvel universe.â
Most powerful character in the Marvel universe? Wow. Those are some big words, which puts her above both Hulk and even Thanos.
Fans of the comics know that a certain female character was in part responsible for stopping Thanos in Infinity Gauntlet, and we do know that Marvel Studios likes to go a different direction than the comicsâŠ
The Avengers 4 has a May 3, 2019 release. Captain Marvel hits March 8, 2019.
