With the release of the new trailer, the Guardians of the Galaxy 3 synopsis has been released which teases a post-Thanos MCU, a new unknown enemy, and quite possibly the end of the Guardians.
What does the Guardians of the Galaxy 3 synopsis say?
The Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Disney Plus listing has been updated which offers the following:
In Marvel Studios āGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3ā our beloved band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. After acquiring Knowhere from the Collector, we find the Guardians working to repair the extreme damage done by Thanosādetermined to make Knowhere a safe haven, not only for themselves, but for all refugees displaced by the harsh universe. It isnāt long before their attempt to return to normal is upended by a brutal attack from a new unknown enemy, and Peter, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
Who will die in Guardians of the Galaxy 3?
A recent rumor offers the flick will feature multiple deaths, with it even said multiple death scenes were filmed to throw off leakers.
The trailer seems to hint as much as the reactions from the various actors and characters seem to indicate something tragic is happening.
Most fans think Rocket Raccoon will be the one to die in the movie, but that might be a red herring as James Gunn doesnāt seem the type to do the obvious.
Dave Bautista has made it pretty clear that he is done with Marvel after Guardians of the Galaxy 3, so maybe Drax will die, and I think Zoe Saldana said more of the same, so Gamora could be on the chopping block.
This film also happens to be the last movie for James Gunn at Marvel, so who knows? Maybe the entire cast dies except for Rocket Raccoon and Groot who go on to be a part of a new Guardians of the Galaxy team.
Some fans also think some of the Guardians of the Galaxy actors will be jumping ship to DC, with fans wanting Chris Pratt to play Booster Gold, and Iāve also seen it recommended that Karen Gillan plays Poison Ivy.
The trailer also features a first look at Will Poulter as Adam Warlock, with Adam Warlock a member of the 2008 Guardians of the Galaxy team in the comics that inspired Gunn, so maybe Adam Warlock becomes the new leader of a new team.
The unknown enemy could either be Warlock or Chukwudi Iwujiās High Evolutionary, or both.
