First Look At Mysterio In Spider-Man: Far From Home

The new Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer offers a first official look at Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio in the film who appears toward the end of the footage battling some sort of elemental water creature.

As Peter Parker gets blasted by water, an enigmatic character appears out of the mysterious green smoke.

“You don’t want any part of this,” Mysterio says as he seemingly conjures a spell with symbols that sort of resembles that of Doctor Strange (Strange’s are orange).

Gyllenhaal’s character then blasts off to take the water elemental creature head-on, which includes a first look at Jake Gyllenhaal wearing the Mysterio helmet.

The Spider-Man: Far From home trailer footage then switches gears to Peter and the students watching Mysterio on the news.

“He’s like Iron Man and Thor rolled into one,” a student remarks

Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal attended the recent Brazil Comic-Con where they teased a team-up between their two characters.

“Mysterio is a cool new hero that has been recruited by Nick Fury because of a threat that is facing the world and he teams up with Spider-Man to face that threat,” Jake Gyllenhaal revealed.

Tom Holland added, “The amazing story in this film is the relationship between Spider-Man and Mysterio. It’s not your average story. We are brothers in arms. We are a team, and we are teaming up to take down this crazy force, which is the Elemental.”
