Fantastic Four Actor Shoots Down Galactus Wild Design Claims

This is pretty funny as actor Ralph Ineson who is playing Galactus in Marvel’s Fantastic Four movie has had to shoot down a wild claim that he teased the design for Galactus in the movie.

The actor recently posted a gift he received for completing his part in filming the flick. Ralph Ineson posted on X that he received “more cool wrap stuff from Marvel.”

The gift is a metallic headpiece of Galactus. Well some fans thought it was directly related to the movie and ran with it that it is the design for Galactus.

Problem is, as Ineson had to explain, is that the wrap gift is actually a Galactus metal bottle opener from 2013!

“For those of you who think that was a first look at Galactus from the new movie, sorry to disappoint, this is from 2013. And for those that like it, I’m sure it’s available to buy,” he tweeted.

Sure enough, checking eBay, you can buy yourself a Galactus metal bottle opener for under thirty bucks.

Also worth a mention is that Fantastic Four hasn’t finished filming (some fans have been running with that, too), only Ralph Ineson has finished his parts for Galactus.

Marvel has actually already teased Galactus that has been leaked from footage, and Marvel also had that cool drone display featuring The Big G at Comic-Con.

Fantastic Four: The First Steps gets released on July 25, 2025, directed by Matt Shakman. Starring in the movie includes Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.
